Jimmy was one of my favorite people and a dear friend. I got to know him in school growing up in Brookhaven. He was a sweet, funny, talented and caring person who offered his hand of friendship to all. As Doctor Love he was always at Brookstock and made the event special. We all looked forward to seeing him each July. He will be missed by so many. I'm thankful to have known him through the years and thankful he is now healed and with our Lord.

My Thoughts & Prayers are with the Family. I met Jimmy in 1962 at Lipsey Jr.High and we played on the Jr. High football team together and have stayed friends since even though I moved away we finally caught up with each other with e-mails on computers. I went back to Brookstock my first year and we got to see each other for first time in over 40 years. I also got to see another old friend Virgil Brawley and several others. Jimmy was always one of my Best Friends and I will miss him. R.I.P. Sir untill we meet again.
