“ I don't know if any of Ben's family will get to see this or not. My name is EJ Rogers. I met Ben is Spur, TX around 2007 when he came in to the shop I was working at looking for work. We quickly became friends. Ben was a brother to me. We worked together at my father in law's shop in spur, we worked in the oil field together, got fired from one crew together and hired on another together. We lived together in my 1979 Winnebago while moving the rig from location to location, with both of our families coming to visit on the weekends. I remeber one time we had all 12 of us piled in that camper one weekend! Ben was someone I could be myself with. We worked hard. He has seen me at my best and been there for me at my worst.
