“ What a beautiful and loving obituary for a dear man and brother in Christ ! Indeed Art was and good, kind, generous man. I can remember meeting Art and Nan for the first time in Midland, TX in 1964. I had just graduated from high school and moved to Midland to study and travel with my brother, Orville Lee Smith. Art and Nan where an encouragement to me in my pursuit of becoming a preacher of the gospel, and I shall ever be thankful to them for all the good they gave to me.
